PLAYGROUND & MOBILE SALES

There are many changes at Papa Robbs this year -  some small, some big. In our previous blogs (end of last year & first two of this year ) we've mentioned our new Papa Robbs Club, changes in our weekends, our new door prize/surprise package, & our daily schedule/events. We are very excited about our NEW PLAYGROUND!

That's right, if it would just stop raining our new playground could arrive & be installed. Now this new playground looks almost just like the old one, but there are a few changes & the platform is a little larger. But everybody seemed to like what we had so we just kept the same overall look.

Our old playground was just that - old. Harder to keep it as clean as we wanted & to keep repairing what was needed. Happy to report that the playground is now at a local church & we hope those kids get a lot of happy use from it.

PAPA ON THE GO -- our mobile sales were busier than ever last year & this year could be even busier. Our first event will be mid March at the Quarter Midget race track in Salisbury & we are always excited to watch these kids race their cars & see old friends & make new ones. Mid April brings the annual Special Olympics. We are very honored to be a small part of this wonderful event & we will bring more  news about that in April.

We are already booking birthday parties, school & church fund raisers, & other special events as far ahead as October so please contact us as early as possible about your party or function. We do have more than one option for you -- inside or outside with a variety of product choices so again, please call as early as possible.

FUN - PRIZES & MORE FUN - MORE PRIZES

This is the year of more fun & more prizes & some changes to our weekly schedule & BIG changes to our ways of communicating to you. But first a quick word about our blogs this year: our blogs will be more important this year. Until we open on  March 28 we will post our blog every 10 days or so. Once open we will blog every week & post on Mondays. That  Monday blog will contain the weekly schedule & will include any special event or contest news - so it is important to check out the blogs this year.

This blog is mostly about our weekly schedule change so let's get to it.

MONDAY -- Our Flavor of The Week  announcement. For this announcement day there will be a 20% discount on the Flavor of The Week. Sometimes there may be more than one flavor or product for that week.
TUESDAY -- Mommy Day. A special welcome for all Moms & all Mommy Groups are very welcome also.There will be door prizes & other surprises for Moms everywhere plus a game or toy or more for the kids. (note our playground here/news below)
WEDNESDAY -- Grandparent Day. Bring the grandkids for fun & games. BONUS: a 20% discount for all over 60 years old. We are also working on some ideas for music in the evenings.
THURSDAY --  Thirsty Thursday returns with an extra splash or two. A 25% discount on Floats, Shakes, Freezes & Slushies -- all day from start to finish!
FRIDAY -- Wacky Weekend Kickoff Day. Start our three day special events with the biggest of them all - Friday. More fun than ever before.
SATURDAY -- Wacky Weekend Party. Some bigger than others , but always some little extra treat or surprise.
SUNDAY -- More Wacky Weekend. A game, a dance, or music or balloons -- or some other surprise. And always a prize or two --  or more.

2019 Changes & News

Hello again & we hope you are excited about this year. We have a lot of important news so let's get to it. Do note that many details about this subjects will be posted as additional weekly Blogs so PLEASE check all Blogs on our Facebook posts.

1.  Social Media platforms are much in the news lately -- both good & not so good. One thing for sure is that they have changed, are changing or will change in the not so distant future. So Papa Robbs is also making changes to our own social media.

Our goal is quality over quantity. You might see fewer daily facebook posts, but more short text messages & a weekly Blog -- all to provide you with instant news plus give you a weekly update on special events for you & your family. It will all be challenging & interesting so please be sure to give us feedback & ideas.

2. A new communication & fun club -- the all new Papa Robbs Club. It is free to join & the goal is to incorporate the club into our social media. There will be several ways to join but one of those is to simply help us with our email list by confirming that we have your latest information: your name, email address & your cell phone number. Cell  phone is vital so you can receive info about our specials, discounts, contests & prizes.

The overall goal here is: quality over quantity, discounts & fun, daily & weekly specials & give you some choices as to how you can stay informed about Papa Robbs & what we can offer you.  Therefore PLEASE check over the email info we are using & confirm we have all correct. 3.  FUN - FUN - FUN ---  Obviously you know we are more than a Cool Treat Store. Our business is really about community & families. We are in the "Family Business" which means we are in the FUN Business. This year the Fun Factor is getting bigger. We will be having contests, door prizes, special drawings, simple surprises:  In other words, you can win tons of prizes - small & large. Much of this news will be on our new Weekly Blog so please check those out each week.

By the way, did we mention that we will be giving away a Grill as our prize for the Papa Robbs Club sign Up??  Details coming next week.
